Course Information
prepare to care is a free 10-week course that will help you get back into education and put you on track for a career in the care sector.
- All you need is an interest in working and caring for others.
- The course will give you an understanding of care skills and will offer valuable work experience in the care sector.
- On successful completion of the course, you'll gain a recognised qualification and get help with your next steps into employment or further study.
- The course is at Borders College in Duns in the Scottish Borders.
- Taking part in the course does not affect your benefit entitlement as it lasts less than 16 hours a week.
- Help is available with travel and other costs. Eligibility criteria apply.
