or the health sector.
- This free course will provide you with the core skills that employers in this sector need. It will help you to get key vocational qualifications and will provide vital work placement opportunities.
- When you are finished you'll know what kind of care you're most suited to.
- On successful completion, you are guaranteed a job interview with NHS Borders or Scottish Borders Council Social Work Services.
- Taking part in the course does not affect benefit entitlement as it lasts less than 16 hours a week.
- The course is based in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. Help is available with travel and other costs.
